3 Injured in 2-Vehicle Hudson Crash

Minor injuries for all involved in the accident outside Rocco's Pizza on Derry Street.

Three people were injured Dec. 5 in a two-vehicle crash on Derry Street in Hudson.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., Hudson Police responded to the area of 286 Derry Street for the report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries.  Upon arrival to the scene, it was determined a 2008 SAAB driven by Deborah Smart, 62, of Manchester, was traveling south on Derry Street when a 1991 Chevrolet Geo Prizm driven by Gary Acone,  51, of Derry, pulled out of Rocco's Pizza parking lot to make a left turn onto Derry Street.  The collision occurred when Smart struck Acone's vehicle on Derry Street.

Smart and another female passenger where wearing their seatbelts and the airbags deployed in their vehicle.  Both women were taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester with non-life-threatening injuries.  Acone was not wearing his seatbelt and there was no airbag deployment in his vehicle.  He was taken to Parkland Medical Center for what appear to be minor injuries as well.

This accident is still under investigation by the Hudson Police Patrol Division.
