1. Hello -  Is Your Refrigerator Running, er, Spamming? High-tech Internet capable household appliances, including networking routers, connected multimedia centers, TV sets, and at least one refrigerator, were behind a spam attack in December, sending botmail to consumers, according to this tech report. I wonder what they said?

3. Verizon Hears the Sound of Competition: After reporting a fourth-quarter wireless margin of 47 percent -- up 5.6 percentage points from a year earlier -- Verizon executives said Tuesday they may make adjustments to contend with the no-contract plans, lower roaming fees and other discounts offered by rivals such as T-Mobile US Inc. Goodie. I hope this means my Verizon monthly bill will be going down.
