BJ's Wholesale Club In NH Starts Seniors Shopping Hours
The chain, with locations in Nashua, Manchester, Portsmouth, Salem, Tilton, makes the change Sunday to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

NASHUA, NH — BJ's Wholesale locations in New Hampshire are opening one hour early, every day, for members who are senior citizens, in an effort to stop the spread of the new coronavirus. Starting Sunday, the store will be open from 8 to 9 a.m. daily for people 60 and older. Each store will have a designated entrance for shoppers to use.
The extra hour is in place until further notice so that seniors can shop in a less crowded environment, according to the store, and before other members arrive to shop.
The bulk items, membership chain has locations in Nashua, Manchester, Portsmouth, Salem, and Tilton. The store has more information here about stock questions and safety issues concerning COVID-19.

What You Can Do
COVID-19, not unlike the flu and other respiratory illnesses, is spread through respiratory droplets, usually through coughing and sneezing, and exposure to others who are sick or might be showing symptoms. Take the same precautions as you would if you were sick:

- Cover mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing.
- Wash hands frequently.
- Disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
