Boston-based band DOUBLESHOT BOSTON Rocked the Area Last Night!

I FINALLY had the pleasure last night to catch the band DOUBLESHOT BOSTON as they rocked T.J. Callahan’s in Tewksbury. Based out of Massachusetts, DOUBLESHOT Boston has been rockin’ the South Shore for years. I can’t tell you how excited I was to hear they were finally playing close to home!

They say this band rocks.. OMG just standing in the parking lot and the pavement was vibrating! The doors and windows were shaking, the energy surrounding the gig was insanity and I hadn’t even walked in the door yet!

Paid my cover, got in the door and instantly I was hit with a crowd of people standing, dancing, screaming along as Drew Barker, lead vocals, takes over the stage. The energy given off by Brian Rukstalis on bass, Peter Kendall on guitar and bad a.. Billy Feeney on the drums was just epic.

Every song they performed was high energy, wall banging, window shattering, earth moving ROCK!

They did Tool, Eminem, Kid Rock, Drowning Pool, Rage Against the Machine, Faith No More, Disturbed, Metallica, and even a ultra heavy rock version of Pink Floyd!

There were so many other amazing songs in between, it would be impossible for me name them all. Needless to say, the set list was insane!

I feel bad for anyone who missed out last night because it was THAT good of a show! They have over 3k followers on Facebook for a reason!

I highly, highly, HIGHLY suggest you check out their Facebook page and see what gigs are close to you. If you’re closer to the border like I am then mark your calendar for January 26th because they WILL BE BACK at T.J. Callahan’s again!

What better way to start the new year? ;) I know I’ll be there!
