Car Crashes Into Tree In Nashua Seriously Injuring Driver

An accident is under investigation in Nashua where a car appears to have crossed into the opposite lane of travel and struck a tree

NASHUA, NH - On August 10, 2020 at 11:52 am responded to calls for a vehicle that crashed into a tree on West Hollis Street near Countryside Drive.

Initial reports said the driver was entrapped and there was a fire in the vehicle. Upon the arrival of Nashua Fire Rescue they reported no fire in the vehicle, and no entrapment.

AMR requested a trauma alert for an approximate 40 year-old male with multiple injuries from a single vehicle crash.

It appears the vehicle was traveling in an Easterly direction on West Hollis St and for unknown reasons crossed into the Westbound lane continuing into a tree.

The driver, the only occupant of the car, was removed by Nashua Fire Rescue and AMR. He was transported to Southern NH Medical with what appear to be serious but non=life threatening injuries.
