Crash Causes Power Outages In Nashua

The area of East Dunstable Road and Queensway Circle Road was closed to traffic on Sunday due to a crash.

NASHUA, NH — A motor vehicle accident on Sunday has caused a power outage in Nashua, according to police.

Around 2 a.m., police posted a note on Twitter stating the area around East Dunstable Road and Queensway Circle Road were closed to traffic. Eversource, police said, was responding to the area and future power outages were anticipated. Police also requested drivers seek alternative routes.

As of 8:30 a.m., about 535 customers were without power or about 1.24 percent of customers in the city. Eversource did not offer an estimated restoration time.
