Dressbarn Closing All Stores, Including 8 In New Hampshire
The company, which has been around for nearly 60 years, announced the news Monday.

Dressbarn, the women's clothing store that has been in business for nearly six decades, is hanging it up. Parent company ascena retail group, inc. announced Monday it will be closing all 650 of the stores, including the eight located in New Hampshire, at an undisclosed date.
"All Dressbarn stores are open and conducting business as usual, as is Dressbarn's ecommerce site," the company said in a press release. "Customers can continue to shop at Dressbarn in-store and online and use Dressbarn-branded credit cards for purchases. There are no current changes to Dressbarn's return, refund, or gift card policies."
CFO Steven Taylor called the decision "difficult but necessary" as the stores were "not been operating at an acceptable level of profitability in today's retail environment."
