Elderly Nashua Man Accused Of Indecent Exposure Again
Donald Lemay of Pine Street was accused of exposing himself on Tuesday. He was convicted in Massachusetts on previous charges.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man is facing a felony indecent exposure and lewdness charge after an incident in Greeley Park on Tuesday.
Around 6:30 p.m., police were sent to the park for a report of a man only wearing black underwear who had pulled them down and showed his genitalia and testicles while also pleasuring himself in front of another man, according to an affidavit. The witness said the man also pointed to his own mouth as if to simulate or suggest oral sex, the report said. The witness told the man to get out of the park and he did, returning to a dark gray Dodge minivan.
The officer took a description of the man while a sergeant found the minivan on Water Street and stopped the vehicle. They spoke to the driver, Donald Lemay, 67, of Pine Street in Nashua, and stated he matched the description of the man in the park, the affidavit stated. When asked if he was in the park earlier, “Donald acknowledged he had just left Greeley Park but denied interacting with anyone while there,” the report said.

The officer ran a check on Lemay and found he potentially had a conviction for lewd and indecent exposure in 1998 and in Fitchburg MA District Court in April 1989.
Detectives arrived and asked Lemay to come to headquarters to discuss the incident. He refused, the affidavit said, but agreed to speak to them at that time. Lemay confirmed he was in the park but gave multiple versions of the story, the affidavit said, from using a porta-potty to urinating in the woods to it all being a “misunderstanding” with a man in the park. He denied, however, pleasuring himself, the report said.

When asked to show the color of his underwear, Lemay complied, the affidavit stated, and he was found to be wearing black underwear.
Lemay refused a consensual search of the minivan but told officers there was male pornography inside, the report said. He was then arrested and his minivan seized. Lemay refused to speak to police and requested an attorney, the report stated.
At police headquarters, the witness was asked to eye photos of suspects and identified Lemay as the man in the park, according to the affidavit.
Lemay was arraigned on Wednesday.
