​Front Door Agency Raises $180K For Families In Crisis

The org's Gourmet Festival and Auction, its 31st, will help fund the Transformational Housing Program.

NASHUA, NH — A local organization helped raised nearly $180,000 for families in need in the Gate City. The Front Door Agency, an organization that offers support and provides services to assist individuals and families transition from crisis to self-sufficiency, held its annual Gourmet Festival and Auction at the Nashua Country Club in late March. The funds raised at the event will assist single mothers and their children in the Transformational Housing Program as well as families who need assistance with back rent, utilities, and security deposits in order to avoid homelessness.

“We are very grateful for the support of our Board of Directors, partners, auction donors, participating restaurants and event sponsors,” said Maryse Wirbal, CEO of the Front Door Agency. “Their participation, along with the generosity of our guests, allows us to transform lives in Greater Nashua.”
