Get Ready For Downtown Nashua's Winter Holiday Stroll

Some streets in Nashua will be shut down Saturday for the 2019 Winter Holiday Stroll but there will be a shuttle bus available to get around

NASHUA, NH — Nashua's downtown winter holiday stroll for 2019 is scheduled for 5 to 10 p.m. on Saturday. All vehicles must be moved off Main Street by 3 p.m. in preparation for the city to complete street closures. The following streets will be closed until midnight to allow for preparation and cleaning afterward: Main Street between West Hollis and Amherst streets; Eldridge Street between Main and Spring streets; West Pearl Street between Main and Spring streets; High Street between Main and the Bank of America lot; Factory Street between Main and Mechanics streets; Water Street between Main and entrance to the French Renaissance Park; Temple Street between Main and Spring streets; Court Street; Church Street between Court Street and Hartshorn Avenue; Park Street; Pearson Avenue; Franklin Street between Main and Front streets; and Clinton Avenue and Railroad Square.

Attendees, according to Justin Kates of the city of Nashua, are encouraged to use the complementary shuttle service provided by the city NTS and First Student. The buses will run from 4:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. from Holman Stadium and also Memorial Hall at Rivier University. The buses from Holman Stadium will be ADA compliant.

Free parking is also available at the Nashua Public Library, garages on Elm and High streets, and parking lots on Mechanic, Spring, Maple, and School streets as well as the French Renaissance Park.
