Hard Hitting And Quick Moving Storm Leaves Trail Of Damage
A quick-moving storm caused damage in Nashua, Hudson, Amherst, Hollis, Milford, and Merrimack including trees taken down by high winds
NASHUA, NH - A quick moving storm traveled through Southwestern, NH and brought down utility lines, caused transformer fires, and took down multiple trees closing roads.
Nashua Fire Rescue handled multiple calls of transformers on fire, downed power lines, and fallen trees.
On Gilson Road a tree came down taking the primary power lines down and completly blocking the road near the intersection with Eric Avenue.

Looking to the West of Nashua as the winds subsided an erie orange sky with unusual cloud patterns could be seen from West Hollis Street.
In Amherst several trees and branches came down throughout Amherst including on Thorntons Ferry II Rd, and Boston Post Road.

Merrimack, Hollis, Milford, and Hudson Fire Departments responded to numerous storm related calls.
Utility crews are working to restore power, and crews working to remove the trees from the roadways.
It does not appear anyone was injured in the storm.
