The fair begins Friday at noon with the stock farm tractor pull and horse log skidding. The amusement rides and games brought to you again this year by Amyland Amusements will open at 2pm. Look for special offers in the local area stores. This is a great time for people with little ones to get a quick run of the fair and not feel so overwhelmed by the crowd. Friday night will begin with the raising of the flag by the Alvirne High School JROTC color guard. We have Brett, an amazing chain saw sculptor back again this year that you can watch birds and animals just jump out and come alive from a wooden log.
