Locals to Play Charitable Golf Tournament in Florida

New Hampshire and Massachusetts residents John Kelley (Milford, Mass.), Mike Ross (Nashua, N.H.), Chris Sharpe (Epsom, N.H.), and Sean Hood (Bow, N.H.) will be among 240 amateur golfers who will compete in the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational National Finals at TPC Sawgrass, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., February 26-March 1, 2015.

The foursome qualified for the national event by winning the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational held at Lake Winnipesaukee Golf Club in New Durham on July 28, 2014, which supported the Asian Community Development Corporation.

The Liberty Mutual Invitational National Finals is the culmination of a series of more than 75 charity golf tournaments around the country in 2014 hosted by Liberty Mutual and local and national charitable organizations that raised more than $7.2 million for charity.

“This foursome represents 12,000 golfers who generously supported more than 60 charities through our series of amateur golf events, and we look forward to celebrating at TPC Sawgrass their invaluable contributions to their communities,” said John Coombe, vice president of brand management and sponsorships at Liberty Mutual.

Two-time U.S. Open Champion and World Golf Hall of Famer Curtis Strange, honorary chairman of the Liberty Mutual Invitational, will be on-hand to interact with the players and conduct an exclusive clinic for the field. “I am proud and honored to support the Liberty Mutual Invitational, a series that has raised over $28 million for so many great charities in just five years,” said Strange.
