Man Arrested for Robbery at Target

Nashua police said the man was armed with a knife as he fled Target at the Pheasant Lane Mall.

Nashua police arrested a man for robbery after he allegedly shoplifted at Target at the Pheasant Lane Mall and fled the store armed with a knife on July 11.

Police said Denis Velez, 33, of 90 1/2 Pine St., Nashua, was later located and arrested on the Class A felony charge.

The charge is punishable by up to 15 years in prison, exclusive of fines.

Velez was scheduled to be arraigned on the charge July 14 at the 9th Circuit Court in Nashua.
