Man Charged with Ash Street Burglary, Central Street Theft

Benjamin Tucker, 23, of 12 Blossom Street, Nashua, was arrested Oct. 19, charged with burglary, a class B felony; and theft by unauthorized taking, a class A misdemeanor.
 According to police at approximately 5:56 p.m. officers responded to Ash Street for the report of a burglary at a residence. The caller reported a television had been stolen. Officers had observed a male who was identified as Tucker, walking in the area approximately 20 minutes prior carrying a television.  With this information, Officers quickly located the suspect and placed him under arrest. 

Tucker had also been identified as a suspect in a theft of a laptop computer from a residence on Central Street in July of this year. Detectives were able to further that investigation which resulted in Tucker being charged with the misdemeanor theft.

A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines.  A Class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in jail, exclusive of fines.  Tucker is being held on a bail of $ 8,000 Cash or Surety, pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on October 21, 2013.
