Man Charged with Bomb Hoax
Nashua police say the man called a Boston TV station with a bomb threat at the Dalianis House on June 6.
Nashua police arrested a man for calling in a bomb threat last month at the Dalianis House.
Police said Mark Sacco, 48, with no fixed address, was charged July 9 with "false report as to explosives," a Class B felony.
Officers responded to the Dalianis House at 59 Factory St. on June 6 after WBZ-TV in Boston called the Nashua Police Department to report the station received a call from a man saying he was going to blow up the building and wanted media coverage of it.
Officers found no bomb on scene and determined it was a hoax.Â
A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison, exclusive of fines.
Sacco was being held on $1,500 cash or surety bail and was scheduled to be arraigned July 10.
