Man Pulled From Burning Building In Nashua By Firefighters

Nashua fire responded to Meadowbrook Drive for smoke coming from the windows of a house. A man was pulled from the house after a search

NASHUA, NH - Nashua Fire Rescue, and AMR responded to a call for a structure fire on Meadowbrook Drive Saturday night. While en route they were advised the caller said there was smoke coming from all the windows.

The first crews arriving reported heavy fire in the rear of the building, and heavy fire in the basement. Firefighters were hampered due to part of the first floor collapsing and what was described as hoarding conditions.

Crews extended a ladder truck to the roof while several firefighters attempted to search the house. After approximately 15 minutes an adult male was found and handed out the first-floor window to firefighters. The man was rushed to a waiting structure where AMR medics began CPR and rushed him to the waiting ambulance.
