Man Who Died In Nashua Fire Identified: Update

Glen Davis, 58, of Nashua, died in the fire inside a Meadowbrook Drive house on Saturday. An autopsy ruled the death to be accidental.

NASHUA, NH — Firefighters responded to a reported house fire at 8 Meadowbrook Drive Saturday.

When they arrived they had heavy fire and smoke preventing initial entry into the house. Firefighters were also hampered by floors collapsing inside the house. Firefighters made entry to the house through a first-floor window and searched for a possible occupant.

They located a man and pulled him from the building. He was given medical aid and taken to Southern NH Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

The victim was transported to Concord where an autopsy was completed Monday by The NH Medical Examiner’s Office.

The victim has been identified as Glen Davis, 58, of Nashua. After the autopsy, the cause of death was ruled to be smoke inhalation and the manner of death to be accidental. The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
