Martin's Point Health Care Sponsors 2019 NH Senior Games
More than 60 athletes from New Hampshire competed with nearly 14,000 in New Mexico as part of the National Senior Games.

NASHUA, NH — More than 60 athletes from New Hampshire competed in the 2019 National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico, during the past few weeks, against 13,650 other athletes from around the United States. The athletes attended the events as part of the nonprofit New Hampshire Senior Games, an effort to promote health lifestyles and activities among Granite Staters who are over the age of 50. The national games are held every two years.
"Those who qualify excelled in their events at the 2018 NH Senior Games," stated Larry Flint, the chairman of the organization. "This is a great opportunity for local athletes to compete against the nation’s very best."
More than 700 Granite Staters competed last year for the chance to go to New Mexico.
