McDonald's Offers Free Meals To NH Coronavirus Front Line Workers

NASHUA, NH — McDonald's is the latest national company to offer free meals to front line workers during the coronavirus crisis, including in New Hampshire. Starting Wednesday, health care workers, firefighters, paramedics and police officers can get free "Thank You Meals" through May 5. Each worker can get one free meal per day.

The company is offering the free meals as a token of appreciation for those working on the front lines of the crisis. To get the meals, workers are asked to simply show their badge at the drive-through or carryout counter. Meals will be offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a selection of sandwiches with a drink and a side of fries or a hash brown, as well as a note of thanks from the company. The meals will be served in Happy Meal boxes, "in the hopes of bringing a smile along with delicious food," the company said.

• Breakfast: Choice of Egg McMuffin sandwich, Chicken McGriddles or a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit. Comes with soft drink, tea or hot coffee and hash brown.
• Lunch and Dinner: Double Cheeseburger, Six-Piece Chicken McNuggets or Filet-O-Fish. Comes with Any size soft drink, tea or coffee and small side of fries.
