Merrimack Police Charge Nashua Man with Aggravated DWI

The driver was pulled over on Daniel Webster Highway after a call from Bedford police.

Merrimack police arrested a Nashua man on May 30 and charged him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, subsequent offense.

Police said Paul Cahill, 52, of 148 Harris Road, Nashua, was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and has a June 12 court date on the charges.

Merrimack received a call from the Bedford Police Department of a Chevy truck reportedly driving erratically south on South River Road on May 30. A Merrimack officer pulled over a truck matching the description a short time later on Daniel Webster Highway.

Police said the officer observed signs of impairment and field sobriety tests were conducted, which led to the charges being filed.
