Motorcyclist Injured In Amherst Street Accident Involving A Car
A trauma team was activated for a motorcyclist involved in an accident with a passenger car on Amherst Street in Nashua Wednesday.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue, AMR Ambulance, and Nashua Police responded to an accident involving a motorcycle and car at Amherst and Sunapee streets around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Nashua firefighters reported the operator of the motorcycle who was wearing a helmet was down in the roadway and unconscious. Nashua fire rescue requested a trauma team activation at Southern NH Medical Center for an a male possibly in his 50s.
The firefighters and AMR prepared the patient for transport to the hospital and advised the patient was conscious at that time.

A sedan which appeared to be traveling west was located at the intersection with heavy frontend damage. Nashua police were photographing the scene which included a motorcycle laying in the intersection. It is unknown the extent of injuries to the motorcycle operator, and no one from the passenger car was transported from the scene.
Nashua police are investigating the accident. The accident was located about 100 yards west of the location where a motorcycle accident occurred less than a week ago, injuring two people.
