Man Wearing Fake Beard Robs Nashua Bank

The incident was reported at 4:48 p.m. Thursday.

A man wearing a fake beard robbed the Granite State Credit Union on Elm Street on Thursday afternoon.

Nashua Police Sgt. Keith Dillon said the call came in at 4:48 p.m. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the credit union and threatened a bank teller for money. The suspect fled in an unknown direction of travel on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured and it is not known if the suspect was armed.

The incident was initially reported as an armed robbery, according to emergency radio broadcasts. The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, between 5'10" to 6' tall, of medium build. wearing a winter hat, tan cargo pants and a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt. He was also wearing a fake beard.
