Nashua Budget Hearing Set for Thursday
Residents are invited to share their opinion on how to spend the city's proposed $262 million budget for FY 2019 at a hearing on Thursday.
NASHUA, N.H. - Residents are invited to share their opinion on how to spend the city's proposed $262 million budget for FY 2019 at a hearing on Thursday. According to the Nashua Telegraph, the meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Nashua High School North auditorium.
The original 2018 budget of $258 million was supplemented twice during the past fiscal year, once by $300,000 from the sale of a parking lot to Southern New Hampshire Health that was appropriated into the Expendable Trust Fund, and then again by $500,000 with the unanticipated revenue from Clocktower Place, which was appropriated to the Hydropower Reserve Fund.
That additional $800,000 puts the 2018 general fund budget at $259 million.
