Nashua Building Issue Causes Part Of Main St To Remain Closed

Bricks fell from a building on Main Street causing the building to be evacuated, and the closing of the sidewalk and part of the street

NASHUA, NH - Nashua Police are on scene at Main St and West Hollis St blocking one lane of the Southbound lane of travel.

Fire crews, and the Nashua Building department deemed the situation unsafe and caused the 12-unit building to be evacuated until repairs could be made.

After the situation was discovered, a short time later multiple bricks fell to the sidewalk which had been shut down for pedestrians.

Crews are expected to take steps to make the area safe so that traffic and pedestrians can return to normal.
