Nashua Football Squad Helps Bullied Teammate: Report
A Nashua High School North football player bullied for wearing the same clothes received a gift from teammates, Boston 25 reported.
NASHUA, NH — The Nashua High School North football team helped a teammate bullied for wearing the same clothes everyday, according to Boston 25. Teammates said the 14-year-old was bullied for wearing old clothes and sneakers with no laces. They decided to purchase new clothes and shoes for him by bussing tables and doing yard work, according to Boston 25.
“I’m very proud because one of the things most coaches will talk other than football is how to give back, to be helpful, be a good person and to see stuff like that is great,” coach Dante Laurendi told Boston 25.
