Nashua K-9 Handler Picked as "Police Officer of the Year"
Nashua Police Officer Guido Marchionda, a K-9 handler, has been selected for Police Officer of the Year.

NASHUA, N.H. - The Nashua Lions Club is set to host their 2018 Plice Officer of the Year Dinner tonight, May 7 at the Doubletree Hitlon in Nashua.
According to Nashua Police Department Community Policing Coordinator Ed Lecius, the Nashua Lions club took over this annual recognition last year. The event was started by the Nashua Exchange which disbanded last year.
The officer selected this year is Officer Guido Marchionda, a K-9 handler.

"He joined the department in 2006 and is a graduate of Bishop Guertin High School and the University of Massachusetts-Lowell," Lecius "According to his supervisors, his selection was predicated on many years of exception performance."
The award will be presented tonight at the regular meeting of the Nashua Lions at the Doubletree by Hilton – Nashua
