Nashua Man Allegedly Stabbed Roommate in the Head

A Nashua man is now in custody after allegedly stabbing his roommate in the head.

NASHUA, N.H. - A Nashua man is now in custody after allegedly stabbing his roommate in the head.

According to Nashua Police, officers responded to a home in Nashua just before 8 p.m. on May 16 after receiving a report from a man who said his roommate attacked him.

When police arrived, they found the victim had victim sustained two lacerations on the head. He was treated and released from the hospital.

After conducting an investigation and obtaining an arrest warrant, police picked up Gofur Alom, 26, of 9 1/2 Granite St. in Nashua, NH and charged him with for two counts of First Degree Assault.

Police said Alom was arrested on the warrant without incident. He was held on a $20,000 cash or surety bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court-South on May 16.
