Nashua Man Arrested for Drug Trafficking

A Nashua man was arrested over the weekend for heroin possession in Hooksett.

HOOKSETT, N.H. - A Nashua man was arrested over the weekend for heroin possession in Hooksett.

According to the Hooksett Police Dept. Facebook, Corey Lake, 28 of Nashua, NH was arrested for and charged with Transportation of Drugs, Possession of Drugs.

According to police, a Hooksett officer saw Lake's car driving on West River Road just before 1 a.m. on May 20. Police said the car had defective plate lights, which prompted a stop.

Police said while the officer spoke with Lake, he saw in plain view, a baggy containing a tan colored powdery substance consistent with heroin, located in the center console of Lake’s vehicle.

Lake was arrested and was cited for the defective equipment violation.

When Lake was taken into custody, another baggy containing a tan colored powdery substance was found on Lake. He was booked at the Hooksett Police Department and released on $12,000 Personal Recognizance Bail with a court date of June 7 at the Merrimack Superior Court.
