Nashua Parking Ban Issued Ahead Of Monster Snowstorm
Latest Nashua weather: a snowstorm is expected to drop 17 inches of snow on the city.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua officials on Saturday announced a parking ban ahead of an incoming snowstorm. The storm is expected to drop 17 inches of snow on the city late Saturday night into Sunday. The ban was issued through Sunday at noon.
During the ban, parking is prohibited on any city street, including the downtown area. Violators will be ticketed and their vehicles will be towed. Free parking will be available at the Elm Street and High Street garages.
"It is very challenging to keep streets clear with heavy snow conditions," Nashua officials said in a statement. "Forecasts are calling for deteriorating conditions Saturday night with heavy snow fall through Sunday morning. If you don’t need to be out on the roads, please stay off them for your safety and to make room for equipment working to keep roads open."

The storm is expected make travel dangerous and knock out power Sunday. It will be followed by extreme cold; wind chill values as low as -15 are anticipated into Monday.
