Nashua Partners With Bike-Sharing Service VeoRide

City officials kicked off their partnership with VeoRide, a dock-less bike share system, with a bike ride on Sunday.

NASHUA, N.H. - City officials kicked off their partnership with VeoRide, a dock-less bike share system, with a bike ride on Sunday.

The pilot program will allow residents to hop on bikes located across the city and park them within feet of their destination using their smart phones.Participants download the VeoRide app on their smartphones in advance, and can use the app to locate a public bicycle closest to their location. The bike can be reserved up to 10 minutes in advance.

Bikes cost $.50 per $15 minutes for use.

Over the weekend, 200 bikes were distributed throughout several different public places in Nashua.
