Nashua Police: Nashua Man Arrested for Assault
A Nashua man was arrested for assault after allegedly attacking a female friend.

NASHUA, NH - A Nashua man was arrested for alledgedly assualting a female friend and reportedly threatening another person with a bat.
According to Nashua Police, Kenneth Pelerin, age 38, of 13 Mulvanity Street, Nashua, NH was arrested for Simple Assault - Domestic Violence and Conduct after an Accident on Mar. 17.
According to police, officer arrived downtown just after 11:30 p.m. on Mar. 17 and found Pelerin, who had allegedly assaulted a female known to him and engaged in a physical altercation with another party on scene. It was also learned that Pelerin attempted to flee the area in his vehicle before officers arrived and was involved in a motor vehicle accident.

The investigation was furthered by detectives assigned to the Special Investigations Division. Detectives learned of other possible crimes committed by Pelerin during the incident. It was reported Pelerin was armed with a baseball bat when he engaged in an altercation with another male. Both Pelerin and the other male were injured during the incident.
Pelerin was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries and later released. The other male did not require medical attention for his injuries. As a result of the investigation, additional charges of Reckless Conduct, Class B Felony and Criminal Threatening with a Deadly Weapon, Class B Felony were also brought forward against Pelerin.

A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years in State Prison, exclusive of fines. A Class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in the County House of Corrections. Pelerin is being held on $3,000 Cash Bail at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections pending his arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court-South.
