NASHUA, NH — The Nashua Silver Knights will be back for a 10th season with a new logo recently unveiled for the 2020 campaign. The Futures College Baseball League released its 2020 schedule on Wednesday.

The Nashua Silver Knights are the final remaining founding franchise in the Futures League. The four-time champions have rostered 22 Major League Baseball draft picks with six single-season record-holders and those with 11 FCBL individual career records.

The fierce-eyes logo has been incorporated into the 10th Anniversary logo set at the base of the outline of the state of New Hampshire. Below the eyes is a star indicating the location of historic Holman Stadium and the Gate City as the home of the Knights.

"I'm excited to be part of the 10th Anniversary season," Silver Knights general manager Cam Cook said. "It's important to not only celebrate the last 10 years of Silver Knights baseball, but the continued success and future of baseball in Nashua. The best is yet to come."

The Silver Knights will open the season May 27 in Brockton, Mass. against the Brockton Rox at Campanelli Stadium. The home opener is May 28 against the North Shore Navigators. Nashua's home opener will be the first of five Thursday night games throughout the season which will once again feature the Thirsty Thursday promotion.

The Silver Knights will host Friday night fireworks shows on June 12 and June 26 both against the Worcester Bravehearts, and also on July 24 against the Pittsfield Suns. All games Monday through Saturday home games begin at 6 p.m. with Sunday games beginning at 3.

There will also be morning games at 10:30 on National Education Day on June 3 and on July 28.

The schedule will be 56 games with 28 contests at home and 28 on the road. The 2020 regular season will feature two halves and a new playoff format. This year, only four teams will qualify for the playoffs, with both the semifinal and championship rounds being contested as best-of-three series.
