Nashua Traffic: 3 Crashes On Everett Turnpike

Snow caused dangerous driving conditions in Nashua; three crashes happened on the Everett Turnpike in the span of a half-hour.

NASHUA, NH — There were three crashes in Nashua on the Everett Turnpike early Wednesday amid a period of heavy snow. The first crash happened at about 11:45 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway near Exit 8. At least one person was reportedly injured. The second crash happened at about the same time on the southbound side of the highway near Exit 6. The third crash was reported at about 12:15 p.m. on the northbound side of the highway at the Exit 6 ramp. Yet another crash was reported during that time period on the Everett in Bedford on the southbound side near Exit 13.

Crashes were reported all over New Hampshire Wednesday and Route 101 was shut down in the afternoon.

Nashua is expected to receive 6-10 inches of snow through Wednesday at 4 p.m., at which point things will change to freezing rain.

Nashua schools were closed Wednesday due to the snow and a parking ban was issued for the city through Thursday morning.
