Nashua Weather: April Starts With Snow

Nashua weather: snow and "annoyingly chilly" temperatures are in the forecast for the weekend.

NASHUA, NH — April is just around the corner—so are some snow and "annoyingly chilly" temperatures for Nashua.

An arctic cold front will roll through the region Saturday night and may drop snow on Nashua Sunday, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a hazardous weather alert.

Strong winds and rain will accompany the snow, according to NWS.

It's part of a surge of cold air churning across Canada, Weather.com's Linda Lam reported, adding New England temperatures will be about 20 degrees colder than usual this weekend. Lows Sunday and Monday in Nashua will be in the 20s.

"Widespread record cold temperatures are not currently expected, but for most it will still be an unwelcome change," Lam wrote, adding it will be "annoyingly chilly."

Meanwhile, temperatures will rise over 60 degrees in Nashua later this week. Here's the latest forecast:

  • Wednesday: Sunny. High of 48 degrees, low 40. 10 mph winds.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 63, low 52. 25 mph winds.
  • Friday: Rain. High 57, low 44.
