NASHUA, NH — A winter weather advisory was issued for Nashua Wednesday, as snow followed by sleet will make driving dangerous.

The advisory is in effect through Wednesday morning. Snow developed late Tuesday night; it will change to sleet before sunrise, then things turn to all rain later in the morning. The rain will continue Thursday, melting any remaining snow in Nashua.

Here’s the National Weather Service advisory:
- A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST WEDNESDAY...
- HAZARD TYPES...SNOW...SLEET...AND FREEZING RAIN.
- ACCUMULATIONS...A COATING TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW FOLLOWED BY LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE.
- TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN THIS EVENING. IT WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT AND EVENTUALLY CHANGE TO SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN LATE TONIGHT OR EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. A CHANGE TO PLAIN RAIN IS EXPECTED WEDNESDAY MORNING...AND IN SOME CASES VERY LATE TONIGHT.
- IMPACTS...LOCALLY SLIPPERY TRAVEL.
- WINDS...NORTHEAST WINDS GENERALLY LESS THAN 10 MPH.
- TEMPERATURES...LOWER 30S. RISING WELL INTO THE 30S WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...AND THEN INTO THE 50S THURSDAY.
