Aline “Linette” (Bloncourt) Manus, 92, of Nashua, NH passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 in St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, with her loving family at her side. She was born January 15, 1923 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, a daughter of the late Melvil and Anna (Chenet) Bloncourt.

As a young woman Linette loved books, eventually became a librarian in a public library and later opened her own book store. She married Leon Manus and opened her own hardware store. Linette was a very dedicated and hard worker, working Monday through Saturday all of her life. She was also a very faithful and devoted Catholic, being a member of the Society of the Daughters of St. Francis de Sales and a communicant of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Nashua. She believed in the power of prayer. Linette loved to bake and did some catering, she loved to entertain and have visitors and Mondays were a great joy to her as she could no longer attend church, the church people came to her. She was still very connected to what went on back in Haiti and was devoted to helping others, from still donating money to pay for many children’s education and assisting families in need. She lived her life for her family, for others and for God.
