NH Malls Announce Closing Due To Coronavirus Outbreak
Simon Properties announced the closing of the Pheasant Lane Mall, Mall of NH, Mall At Rockingham, and Merrimack Premium Outlets.
NASHUA, NH — Simon Properties, which operates several New Hampshire malls, has announced the closing of the malls from 7 p.m. Wednesday until March 29, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Merrimack Premium Outlet Mall, Merrimack
Stores were informed about the closures Wednesday.
The company, according to a statement, recognized the threat of COVID-19, and "after extensive discussions with federal, state and local officials," decided to close all of its retail properties.
"The health and safety of our shoppers, retailers and employees is of paramount importance and we are taking this step to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our communities," said David Simon, Chairman, the chief executive officer and president of Simon.
