NPL Teen Photo Contest: 'New England in the Fall'

Here's a challenge for the younger set - Nashua Public Library's first ever Teen Photo Contest.

Rules and Regulations:

• Contest is open to NPL teen cardholders in grades 6 through 12.

• Submissions will be accepted via email or in person from September 1, 2013 to November 15, 2013. 

• Limit one submission per person.

• Submissions must incorporate the contest theme, “New England in the Fall”

• Only original photos taken by the contestant after September 1, 2013 will be accepted.

• By submitting an image, the contestant agrees it is his/her original photo and not the work of another individual. Photographs submitted will be judged from November 16, 2013 through November 26, 2013.

• Winners will be announced via social media on November 30, 2013.

• Winning contestants will be notified via email no later than December 1, 2013.

• The grand prize winner will receive a professionally framed copy of the winning photograph.

• Selected winners’ photographs will be displayed on NPL social media platforms as well as in the library.

• Photographs must be suitable to a public environment

• Contest winners will be asked to grant to the NPL their photograph and their name or alias to be used for promotional purposes online, in print, and all other media for editorial, advertising, and promotional purposes in connection with the contest without payment or additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

• It is the responsibility of the contestant to obtain written or verbal release for public use of any submitted photo from all persons in the photograph submitted.
