Police: Man Sold Stolen Goods at Nashua Pawn Shop

Items allegedly stolen in Merrimack by Michael Lemoureux turned up in a Nashua pawn shop.

Michael Lamoureux, 21, of 75 Back River Road, Merrimack, was arrested by Nashua Police Jan. 25 on a warrant charging him with receiving stolen property, class A felony. 

On November 24, 2013 the Merrimack Police Department handled the report of a theft that occurred in their jurisdiction. The victim reported several items valued in excess of $1,500 were stolen. The investigation was furthered by detectives with the Merrimack Police Department who located property matching the stolen items sold at a second hand buyer business in Nashua. The items located were positively identified by the victim. As a result, an arrest warrant was issued for Lamoureux by members of the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. 

The class A felony is punishable by up to fifteen years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Lamoureux was released on $10,000 cash or surety bail pending an upcoming arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on February 11, 2014.

According to our Patch archives, Lemoureux was arrested in Merrimack on Jan. 17, 2013 for allegedly growing pot in his parents home.
