UPDATE: Police Investigate Shots Fired in Nashua

Police report of shots fired in the area of Grand and Stevens avenues in Nashua. Ledge Street has re-opened to traffic.

UPDATE 6:12 p.m.:
The Nashua Police Department announced Ledge Street has re-opened to traffic and all residents can return to their homes.

The street was shut down during the investigation of shots fired earlier on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua told Nashua Patch the club is no longer on lock down.

Nashua Police are currently investigating reports of shots fired in the city, according to police.

Nashua Police received reports of multiple shots fired in the area of Grand Avenue and Stevens Avenue.

The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua is currently in lockdown as a precautionary measure while police activity occurs in the general area, according to the Nashua Police Department. NPD officers are at the Boys and Girls club to ensure the safety of those in the club.

NPD said there are no reported injuries at this time.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area at this time and residents are asked to remain indoors.
