Police: Shooting Incident Unfounded, Area Safe

Nashua Police: "At this point, the incident appears isolated and there was no danger identified in the area."

UPDATE: 9:30 p.m. – The report of a shooting on Donna Street early Monday evening was "unfounded," the Nashua Police Department reports after investigating the matter.

Police officers descended on the area after a report June 2 of a "violent assault involving firearms," but "it was ultimately determined the incident was unfounded," according to police.

"At this point, the incident appears isolated and there was no danger identified in the area. The manner in which the incident was reported is under investigation," Nashua Police said in a statement.
