Nashua, NH — Alex Karwoski, a Hollis resident born in Nashua, is headed to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for the 2016 Olympics.
Karwoski, 25, is a member of the U.S. rowing squad; his event is the eight—featuring eight rowers and a coxswain steering the boat.
The rowing competition is Aug. 6-13. The opening ceremony for the Games is Aug. 5.
