Rotary Club of Nashua Has New Board Members, Officers

NASHUA, NH — The Rotary Club of Nashua announced its Board and Officers for the 2021-2022 Year the org's "Changing of the Gavel" ceremony held at Nashua Country Club on Monday.

The newly elected slate of officers for the Rotary Club of Greater Nashua are: President Elizabeth Covino; President-Elect Christine Donlan; Vice-President Erin Gleeson; Treasurer Donna Robinson; Assistant Treasurer Dr. Adrian Levesque; Secretary Steve Boilard; and Assistant Secretary Nick Coffey.

Board members are: Patricia Conard; Steve Hedges; Dr. Kelly MacDonald; Jerry Mayotte; Dr. Jerrilyn Sullivan; Jack Tulley; and Ian Bowker. William H. Barry, III, is Immediate Past President.

The Club is a group of professionals dedicated to the ideals of Rotary including “Service Above Self.” Founded in 1921, the Rotary Club of Nashua is the longest-serving professional community-service group in Nashua.

This year marks the Club’s 100 years of service and will be commemorated with a gala on Oct. 15 at the Double Tree Hotel in Nashua. The club’s membership includes more than 100 professionals from the greater Nashua area.

During the last century, the Club has embarked on many outstanding community projects which include the building of the bandstand at Greeley Park, construction of Rotary Pool (adjacent to Centennial School), support of Community Hospice House in Merrimack, and most recently the creation of Rotary Common, which includes a one-of-a-kind labyrinth. The Club awards over $50,000 annually in scholarships and community grants to local non-profit organizations and supports many international projects such as Polio Eradication, Pure Water for the World, and the educational support of midwives in Guatemala.
