Snow Causes Cancellations, Delays Throughout New Hampshire
Many students get three-day weekend after up to eight inches fell in southern and coastal parts of the state.

It was an extended weekend for most students in southern and central New Hampshire as an overnight storm dumped up to eight inches of snow in the state.
Coastal New Hampshire had many of the jackpot totals with National Weather Service spotters in North Hampton reporting eight inches, Hampton Falls reporting 7.3 inches and Portsmouth reporting 6.9 inches, as of 9:30 a.m. Slightly lower amounts were reported across the southern and central parts of the state with 6.4 inches of snow reported in Nashua, six inches reported in Concord, and five inches reported in Bedford.

A Winter Storm Winter Warning remains in effect for southern and coastal parts of the state until noon.

While New Hampshire experienced lesser snow totals than Massachusetts, most schools in the southern parts of the state opted to close for the day, with others choosing to delay openings and cancel preschool.
The weather conditions were responsible for spinouts throughout the morning commute. New Hampshire State Police also advised those heading out after the storm to clean off vehicles or risk a ticket.
