Summer Reading Lists in Nashua

Nashua librarians have selected various age-based book titles for reading this summer, including "Between the Lines" by Jodi Picoult & Samantha Van Leer.

The Nashua School District encourages students to pick up a couple of good books for reading pleasure this summer, and librarians have selected various age-based titles.

Here are a few of the books in each age-group category:

Kindergarten to Grade 2

  • "Duck & Goose" by Tad Hill 
  • "Duck! Rabbit!" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal 
  • "Exclamation Mark" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal 
Grades 3 to 5
  • "Buddy" by M.H. Herlong
  • "The Candy Smash" by Jacqueline Davies  (and others in the Lemonade War series)
  • "Chomp" and other books by Carl Hiaasen 
Middle School
  • "A Tangle of Knots" by Lisa A. Graff.
  • "Force Out" by Tim Green
  • "Theodore Boone: the Activist (Kid Lawyer, The Abduction, Accused) by John Grisham
High School
  • "The Future of Us" by Jay Asher
  • "And the Mountains Echoed" by Khaled Hosseini
  • "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer
  • "Shadows on the Moon" by Zoe Marriott
  • "Between the Lines" by Jodi Picoult & Samantha Van Leer
