T-Storms, Heavy Showers Expected To Hit New Hampshire
Breaking: The National Weather Service is warning that thunderstorms with damaging winds could hit the Granite State Wednesday.

GRAY, ME — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for most of the state of New Hampshire warning that thunderstorms and heavy showers are expected Wednesday afternoon and evening. According to radar forecasts, the first wave of storms will hit the state around 3 p.m. with thunderstorms moving into the Amherst, Milford, Merrimack, and Nashua area around 3:15 p.m. Some parts of the Seacoast will also see heavy showers at this time.
"Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon in advance of a cold front," according to the NWS alert. "A few storms may be severe with damaging winds. Additionally, the storms may produce heavy rain, especially in the SW and mountains."
The storms move into the central part of New Hampshire around 4 p.m. The worst of the first wave of storms should be completed by 5:30 or 6 p.m.

Rain, however, is expected to continue through the evening and into the early morning hours.
More scattered thunderstorms are expected on Thursday as a secondary cold front moves into the region.
