Two Granite State communities — one town and one city — are among the best places in America to live, according to a new analysis by realtor.com and Money Magazine. The analysis, released on Sept. 18, 2017, lists the top 100 "Best Places to Live in America" for 2017. Fishers, Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis, won first place in this year’s annual ranking, while runners up include Allen, Texas; Monterey Park, California; Franklin, Tennessee; and Olive Branch, Mississippi.
According to the list, Nashua in Hillsborough County was listed as No. 57 while Salem in Rockingham County was listed No. 82 on the Hot 100.
The rankings were derived from more than 70 separate types of data, including economic factors, cost of living, education, housing and crime. (You can read the full methodology here.)
