Amanda Grazewski Missing 1 Year: NH Police Have No Sustained Tips
Cops mark the anniversary of the 24-year-old woman's disappearance with limited info despite hundreds of investigative hours, numerous tips.

DERRY, NH — Wednesday marks the one-year anniversary that a woman vanished from a home on Birch Street in Derry during the early morning hours of March 17, 2020.
Capt. Vern Thomas of the Derry Police Department said cops logged in "hundreds of investigative hours" during the year Amanda Grazewski, 24, had been missing. Those hours include interviews, area searches, Internet and social media examinations, and following up on numerous tips from the public.
"As of this date, there have been no sustained tips or information as to Amanda's whereabouts or circumstance under which she disappeared," he said. "Derry police continue to investigate all possible leads and interview known associates of Amanda and the friends last believed to have seen her."

According to police, Grazewski was staying with a friend on Birch Street. She left the home around 12:30 a.m. without her purse, cellphone, backpack, or other belongings. Grazewski has not been seen or heard from since.
She, according to police, had a history of substance abuse, dating back to her early teens, after the death of her father, while friends and acquaintances claimed she was involved in prostitution. During an interview with Manchester Ink Link, police said although Grazewski had been known to frequent Hooksett, Hudson, Manchester, Nashua, and Salem, she was virtually homeless at the time of her disappearance. On the morning in question, there were others with her. While she stayed up, they went to sleep — but did not report her missing until 48 hours later. There were text messages, too, on her cellphone, to an unknown number where she mentioned moving to Salem.

Grazewski is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighs around 135 lbs. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. She does not own or have access to a vehicle.
There is an active $1,000 reward by a family member being offered in the case.
Police have led K-9 searches around the apartment where she was last seen as well as other areas of town. Her Social Security card was found outside of Eliot Hospital in Manchester on March 26, according to the Ink Link report.
Grazewski is one of five missing persons reported during the last two years from the Nashua-Derry area of the state. Others include April Bailey, 37, who has been missing from Nashua since January 2020; Michael Jones, 35, who has been missing from Nashua since January 2019, and Michael McClain, 30, of Manchester, who has been missing from Nashua since April 2019. Greg Surbey, 37, last week, was reported missing from Nashua since Feb. 5.
The FBI recently tweeted out information about Bailey, joining in the investigation.
