BRENTWOOD, NH — A man from Atkinson has been indicted on the charge of voting in more than one state during the November 2018 election. Robert A. Bell, 77, is charged with voting both in Atkinson and in Florida on Nov. 6. The Rockingham County Superior Court grand jury indicted him on the charge this month.

The charge against Bell is a Class B felony, which carries a maximum possible sentence of 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison if he is convicted.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt; rather, it means a jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
